TL;DR - Following along is not learning. Struggling is learning. Take advice, then build the thing yourself.
Does anyone still go through tutorials in 2026? I never understood how people can follow along with a tutorial and actually learn something. I was never the type who could sit in front of the computer and code along step by step. In my opinion it's a complete waste of time - because you're not learning. You learn when you're struggling.
If you're still watching tutorials in 2026, you're cooked. The better input is advice you can actually apply - then you go and do the thing yourself. Design, coding, software architecture, doesn't matter.
Learn something, apply it, build it yourself. The struggle is the lesson.
